Two years ago, I got to go with FSM to San Diego on a little trip called OGN! While there, some friendships deepened that have been super important to me ever since. One of those friendships made at OGN was with Jayson Harris. Jayson’s a student at Little Rock Christian Academy and highly involved at Fellowship Student Ministries. Recently, he’s been working hard at planning the Ultimate Fight Against ALS, an Ultimate Frisbee fundraiser tournament he and some friends have organized in order to “provide financial aid for research through Dr. Rudnicki to cure ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The reason why [they] are doing this is because we have been affected by ALS by close friends – the Deacons.” They’ve raised thousands already, gotten area sponsored, and coordinated the tournament. What an awesome legacy to leave as you move on to college!
