Here are the details for the WILL SHOOT FOR WATER campaign!
My family photography sessions are $200, combine that with a High-Res CD Of the images, and you’re looking at over a $500 value. For a $200 donation, you get a family shoot of 1-2 hours, and a High Res cd of the images.
Couples sessions start at $150, and work the same as the family sessions.
Obviously, weddings vary, but my regular collections start at around $1800. I don’t know that anyone will do this, but if you donate $2200 ($100 for every year I’ll have been alive), I’ll shoot your wedding, complete with engagement session, 7 hours of wedding day coverage, and a disc of High-Res images (which I never do without an album, but just this once). So the first person, if anyone’s brave enough and willing enough, to donate $2200 to my Charity:Water campaign, I’ll shoot your wedding. Some restrictions do apply, so if you’re wanting to take advantage of this opportunity, shoot me an email first, and we’ll make sure it’ll work out to the expectations of both sides! THEN donate the money.
Oh, and did I mention this? None of the funds ever come in contact with me, so it’s all legit. And, all donations are fully tax deductible.
SO, it’s a big goal. I’d love to raise more than $5,000, but that’s my goal. This is going to be a pretty humbling experience in many ways, but one huge way is that the response is quantitatively measured. For 80 something days, there will be a number assigned to the response of people to this blog. I debated a bit on whether I should do it, for fear of it sitting at $20-$50 the whole time. But then it hit me, first off, my pride needs to go away, and even if it sits at $50, that’s $50 of change.
What if you can’t give?
1) doubt it.
2) Take the link to this blog post, http://blog.memoryboxphotos.com/thelife/?p=508, and tweet it, facebook it, blog it, email it to everyone you know. The more people that know the more money gets raised and the more people get clean water and the less people die needlessly.
Oh, and for what it’s worth, if everyone that reads this blog in an average week donated, we’d have the money raised in 6 days.
