Since the second semester of my freshman year, I’ve been able to be on the leadership committee for Tiger Serve Day. Tiger Serve Day is one Saturday a semester where the student body of Ouachita Baptist University come out to give back to the community we call home throughout the school year. As a part of the leadership committee, we publicize the event, recruit teams, evaluate projects, assign everything needed, and make sure things get done! It’s a huge thing for the community, and this semester we set a new volunteer record, with over 900 OBU students giving time and service to the Arkadelphia Community.
