Like I mentioned in this post on Sunday night (aka early monday morning), Sunday night was the Fellowship Student Ministries’ Senior Dessert Banquet! During the course of the night, we see pictures of a lot of the seniors from beginning to now, award an “educational grant,” and the seniors are able to hear some words of encouragement from one of the church’s teaching pastors, Tim Lundy. It’s a neat time to honor not only the students, but the parents guardians that have been there every step of the way.
On that note, I wanted to give everyone the playlist I used as some of the seniors’ pictures played!
1. Everything’s Changing – The Running Back
2. God Gave Me You – Dave Barnes
3. Hard to Believe – Andy Davis
4. Never Be Ready – Mat Kearney
5. Happy – The Daylights
This year, I brought along a little memoryBOOTH magic! Setting it up in the area was a trick and a half, but we managed to make it work!
BEFORE we get to the pictures, here’s some MUCHO IMPORTANT information particularly for those who were there and had their picture taken! Remember how I told you to grab one of those cards? Well here’s why! To show how proud we are of your accomplishments, FSM was able to give you one of the Zondervan Bible Handbooks, but the FSM staff also like to give you a 5×7 of your choice from the booth! To get your pics, go to the Memory Box Photos portfolio site, click on the clients tab, and type “senior2010” in the password dialog box. This will open up the gallery of the booth pics. Simply click the shopping cart icon in the top left corner of the picture you want. You’re more than welcome to order however many you would like, but the code on the back of that business card is the code for the coupon will get you one free 5×7! Be sure you enter your shipping information! Near the end of checkout, you will be prompted for your discount or coupon code. That’s what is on the back of the card, and why I said it was so important that you take and keep one! ALSO! Please note, the images you receive when you order prints will NOT have the white frame or memory box photos text at the bottom! If you have any questions, be sure you email me (Austin) rather than the FSM offices. They’re not “in the know” on how this stuff works. They just said, “Austin, here’s what we want to do!” and I said, “Let’s make it happen!”
Also, there’s a FB album with these images too, so that you can tag them and profile pic them. ALL I ASK is that you dont crop out the memory box photos!
For anyone else that might want to see the pictures, there’s a selection below, OR you can watch the slideshow at this link.
BUT, now that that has been taken care of, here’s a handful of my favorites from a really special night!
this one may be my favorite, just because of all the expressions….
If YOU are interested in having a memoryBOOTH at any of your next parties, office get togethers, banquets, wedding receptions, or any other event, let me know!!!
