Today at Fellowship Bible Church was Senior Sunday! This group of seniors I have LOVED getting to know over the past two years. It’s kind of weird to think that I met them after their sophomore year in high school, for the most part. All of them are off to do great things, but I’m really excited that a good group of them are headed to Arkadelphia for OBU in August! It’s been a pleasure to serve these students the past few years!
At the end of the service this morning, we had all of the seniors to the front of the Worship Center. There had to be 60 or 70 total. Their parents came down and we spent a few minutes in prayer, allowing the parents to pray for their kids, and for the body to pray over the families as they enter the next season in life. It was definitely a moving time, to say the least.
Later on, we had the seniors and their parents come to a dessert we put on each year. It’s always a really neat time, but this year the FSM staff decided a memoryBOOTH would be an awesome icing to add to the Senior Dessert Cake, if you will! Wednesday, I’ll post some of the booth images, but for now, just know it was fun!
Class of 2010, you rule.

On a more “business” side of things, if you will, I’ve gotten emails about the lack of RSS-friendliness of the blog. I’m looking in to what needs to be done about that. Needless to say, soon there will be changes. This may mean a totally different blog layout, or just some optimization. Still not sure, but I know there’s a problem, and I know it needs to be fixed!
