Last year, I went to my summer’s first couple and said, “Hey. I’ve got this idea I want to try. That could be terrible. I don’t think it will, but let’s be honest, it could. I want to try it at your wedding…you know, the big day you’ve been planning all your life and then some? Kind of like a test run…at your wedding…” And then, the memoryBOOTH was born (check it here)! It was back when Memory Box Photography (RIP) was still around, thus the memoryBOOTH. When I made the switch to Austin J Walker Photography, the memoryBOOTH was it’s own animal and so I kept it!
Well, in Franklin, TN November 5, Mallory’s family (that bold/trusting bride from the first memoryBOOTH) had another wedding. Audrey Nelson married James Freshwater. Obviously, I knew Audrey from her sister Mallory’s wedding, and I had met James. I didn’t realize James was the drummer for Lovedrug, so shameless plug for them there as well. They even played a little bit during the wedding at the beckoning of billions of fans in the wedding attendance….and the cover band. After having such an amazing time with the Nelson/Pagan wedding before, I knew I wanted to be a part of this one! So we worked it out, my wife and I road tripped to Nashville, and we shot a memoryBOOTH at the Freshwater Wedding at the Factory at Franklin. Super legit venue, great wedding reception band (Nationwide Coverage), and their wedding photographer was a lot of fun and great at letting us come in just to shoot the BOOTH. Here’s her website, check it out! You can even see her and her better half in the BOOTH pictures.
So check out some of my favorites, then at the bottom check out the link to the Facebook album (that’ll go up the evening of November 10), and comment/tag/like away! (For real, please help me tag them).
Enjoy!
