I won’t take the fun of hearing Jake and Hannah’s story away from you! BUT, I’ll fill you in on my side of it! I got a phone call yesterday afternoon about noon, and I totally forgot to return it. Then, at 5:00 that evening, as I was heading home from meeting a student at Sonic, I realized I’d left him hanging. I called Jake back, and he asked if I had plans that night. Next thing I knew, I had my gear packed and I was on the interstate to Arkadelphia!
It was a challenge for sure, being 9:00 PM with only faint street lights. Lying prone by a bush that was apparently made out of nothing but mosquitos, I got to see the whole thing take place. I’m so glad Jake thought to ask me to be a part of your plans. I’m pretty pumped she said yes. I’d imagine Jake is as well!
